The TVM (Tether Vehicle Module) serves as the interface between the TGS and the UAS, managing power supply, data transmission, and much more. We specialize in adapting the TVM to the specific requirements of the UAS. We use the standard MAVLink communication protocol, but it can also be customized upon request.
Flight Controller Communication
The TVM sends us the current data via the flight controller communication, including the current temperature, the voltage supplied to the UAS and whether it is within the normal range, as well as the battery status.
To ensure maximum safety, the TVM immediately switches to the backup battery in the event of a system failure. The backup battery is continuously maintained at the required charge level during tethered operation, ensuring a reliable power supply at all times.
Solderless UAS Integration
To ensure process reliability during the integration of the Tether Vehicle Module, all power supply connection points are equipped with screw terminals.
This allows a solder-free connection that can be consistently replicated across large quantities.
